Tristania have just published the first photos of the new line up, with their two new singers. They will be posting more as they get developed. The pictures will also be used as the new t-shirt design for their upcoming tour. But what bugs me, is why they put Vibeke Stene, one of the most beautiful women and voices in metal, at the very back of the picture!!?! You can hardly see her! Now doesn't that just seem foolish? Also, Tristania's new album "World of Glass" is currently album of the month at Napalm Records and should be released soon.

Roland Grapow (g) and Uli Kusch (dr) are no longer with Helloween. They had to leave the band because Michael Weikath, Markus Grosskopf and Andi Deris felt Roland and Uli were paying too much time and attention to their solo projects.

The working title for this item is "no daylights nor heeltaps". And he confirmed me that there will be a new version of "swords of a 1000 men" with kev as singer (maybe released as single).

As I'm a bit lazy this morning, I'll just cut'n'pate the whole thing: Iced Earth's first set of shows promoting their album Horror Show now begin in the United States in September, playing with metal legends Judas Priest and Anthrax. This has the chance to be a big break for the band in America, as they will finally have the opportunity to showcase their powerful brand of metal to many who may not have heard the band before. They will hit many cities they haven't had a chance to play in the past, and on top of that, will be playing at venues that seat thousands rather than the hundreds they're used to. Once the ball gets rolling, anything can happen...More info's available over at the Iced Earth website.
In Extremo have released an mp3 with extracts from their new album "Sünder ohne Zügel". Check out their "downloads" section to ... download :)

It's official - the new lead male vocalist and permanent member of Tristania is Kjetil Ingebrigtsen. He has, for the last months, been hard at work rehearsing with the rest of the band and will, together with Østen Bergøy, accompany the band on tour in September. Anders H. Hidle reports that Kjetil has improved immensly in the short time he's been with the band and that they are very pleased with his performances. The band reports that they have already included two tracks from the new album; 'World of Glass' and 'Tender Trip on Earth'. They will also work to include the tracks 'The Shining Path' and 'Selling Out' before the tour starts. Due to the new album barely hitting the stores before the tour starts, there will be a fine mixture between old and new material on the tour. Read more on the tour in the Community section and more on the album in the Album section. Thanks to Ed "pax eternum" Graham for the info. edit Matze: Just noticed there are 3 soundclips from the new album available in th "Music" section of their site.
